The production features the entire troupe of Moscow's Gubernia Theatre: People's Artists of Russia Sergei BESRUKOV, Karina Andolenko, Alexander Tyutin, Dmitry Kartashov, Sergei Vershinin, Anton Sokolov, Vera Spak, Mikhail Shilov, Elena Doronina, Andrei Issaenkov, Stepan Kulikov, Sergei Kunitsky, Yulia Pilipovich, Andrei Soroka, Alexander Frolov, Grigory Firsov, Natalya Shlyaruk, Viktor Shutov, Sasha Belyaev. The name of poet, songwriter and actor Vladimir Vysotsky became a legend during his lifetime. Yet it all began in the Moscow backyards of the postwar period, where the modest boy grew up in the family of an officer, dreaming of acting. And he became an actor and lived through hundreds of destinies not only on the stage and screen, but also in his songs, for which the whole country became enthusiastic. The authors of this play tried to answer the question, how does a legend actually arise? The figure of Vysotsky was not entrusted to a concrete actor, but crystallized from individual episodes of his life played on stage, from his poems and songs, which resemble a confession. The play is based on memories of contemporaries, on unknown facts in Vysotsky's biography and fragments from his letters and diaries. As with many poets, Vysotsky's biography was written in his songs and poems. The performance of the actors of the Moscow Gubernia Theatre will feature the most famous songs and poems of the artist, highlighting the milestones of his life: "I do not love", "My Gypsy Song", "The Love Ballad", "My Black Man", "The Lyrical Song", "I bore my misfortune", "07", "Capricious Horses", "In the Bolshoi Karetnyj" and v. a.a. The songs will sound in different genres: from classical bard songs with guitar accompaniment and orchestral arrangements in the style of the 70-ies of the last century to completely new rock sound. It is not easy to sing his songs, because he himself was a poignant interpreter of his songs. The most important thing is to live through these songs because Vladimir Vysotsky was an artist. He didn't sing his songs, he lived through them. The same is true of his poems, which can't simply be recited - these are monologues by the author, akin to a deep confession, and incredibly poignant." The Vysotsky -House at Taganka participated in the production. Play time: 4 hours (with one intermission) Text source and more information about this event at: https://www.jahrhunderthalle.de/programm/kalender/vysotsky/27-09-2019-19-00/
