On Friday, November 12, the time has come: at 12 noon, the now 23rd Art Supermarket in Frankfurt opens its doors. Until 22 January, art lovers can once again find many beautiful, surprising and exciting works for their own homes, offices or - perfect for Christmas - as gifts. Both established artists and young talents from Germany and abroad will be presenting drawings, acrylic and oil paintings, watercolours, photographic art and small sculptures in the Pop Up Gallery for eleven weeks. Of course, the regional art scene is also supported here. After locations on Leipziger Straße, in MyZeil or in Neue Rothofstraße, the art supermarket can be found this year on Schweizer Straße.
The concept of the art supermarket is as simple as it is ingenious: Here there should be art for every taste and, above all, for every budget. Thus, the prices for the works on offer are also fixed: in the art supermarket, a work of art costs 69 €, 129 €, 249 € or 359 €. On the one hand, the works of art are presented in a dynamic, comprehensive display on the walls. On the other hand, visitors can relax and browse through the huge collection of specially made artist's boxes. And those who have found a favorite can then have this work framed immediately if desired.
"Art makes you happy" is the motto of the art supermarket, which has developed into one of the most successful platforms for contemporary art in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The fact that it traditionally takes place every year before Christmas is perfectly chosen, as many beautiful, original Christmas gifts can be found in the art supermarket.
