Also 2022 no station district night

Also 2022 no station district night

You get the feeling that normality is returning more and more to our everyday lives. Larger events such as the Berger street festival, the WORLD CLUB DOME or the Wäldchestag take place again, the mask obligation applies only in a few places and despite still quite high infection numbers Corona seems to have lost its very big horror. Now you could believe that the big event highlights of the coming months can take place as planned. Unfortunately, this is not the case: The Bahnhofsviertelacht planned for August 18 has now been canceled by Tourismus+Congress GmbH as the organizer of the festival.

The primary reason for this decision had been that there was not enough time to plan the event. The numerous program items at many different venues would require extensive planning, which simply could not be guaranteed in the short time available. In addition, the conditions of the neighborhood require a completely different scope of preparations than is the case with other district festivals. Since the celebration is traditionally tied to the birthday of the central station on August 18, a postponement to a later point in time in the summer was also not an option.

Unlike the Bahnhofsviertel night, the Mainfest, the Museumsuferfest, the Schweizer Straßenfest or also the Apfelweinfest are to take place again this summer. And in the station district should then finally be able to be celebrated again in 2023.
