This is a real honour: The wine press company Gerhard Nöll GmbH from Frankfurt am Main has now been awarded the Federal Award of Honour for fruit drinks by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). Best quality from Frankfurt - that has to be appreciated! The award was presented last week in Nuremberg during the BrauBeviale trade fair. Ministerial Director Dr. Katharina Böttcher (BMEL) presented the medal and certificate together with the Vice President of the DLG (German Agricultural Society), Dr. Diedrich Harms.
The Federal Award of Honour is the highest honour that a company in the German food industry can receive for its quality performance. The award was presented to a total of eight German producers of fruit drinks that achieved the best test results in the DLG quality test.
Dr. Harms praised the overall operational performance of the companies as an expression of high professional skill during the award ceremony. According to him, the federal award winners are not only among the best in the fruit beverage industry. They are also pioneers who understand in an exemplary manner how to combine a culture of enjoyment with a consistent striving for quality. In times of frightening food scandals, this is an important and very positive signal.
