DFB Cup Final: Eintracht Frankfurt reception at Römerberg

Frankfurt is preparing for a reception of Eintracht at Römerberg. Should the Frankfurt Eintracht win the DFB Cup final against RB Leipzig, the reception of the team will take place on Sunday, June 4, at Römerberg. After a win in Berlin, the team will be expected at Frankfurt Airport at around 1:40 p.m. on June 4 and will travel in a motorcade through Sachsenhausen to the Römer. Fans can expect the team to arrive at Römer around 4:30 p.m. and celebrate on the balcony around 5 p.m.

The reception as well as the motorcade will only take place in case of victory

For all those who want to experience the Eintracht reception live, the organizer is setting up four visitor zones: At the Römer, at Paulsplatz as well as at Mainkai West and Mainkai East. Everywhere there will be large screens with live broadcasts of the motorcade, the reception in the Römer and the team's visit to the balcony of the town hall. In addition, there will be an entertainment program and catering with drinks and food at all the above-mentioned places. Fanmobiles of the Eintracht await the visitors at the Mainkai and at the Paulsplatz.

Comfortable and somewhat quieter spectator opportunities, for example for families, are offered by the visitor areas on the banks of the Main: starting at 10 a.m., there will be live broadcasts from the Römerberg as well as other impressions and contributions on large screens. In total, there will be space for 60,000 fans.

The visitor zones are accessible via three entrances:

  • to the Römerberg one comes exclusively via Braubachstraße corner Domstraße
  • on the Paulsplatz north via Berliner Straße and
  • on the Mainkai via the western side corner Untermainbrücke or east via the corner Zum Pfarrturm.

Should the Römerberg be full, travelers will be informed in good time - including by the live coverage of Hessischer Rundfunk, Hit Radio FFH, Eintracht and generally via the social media channels of the city of Frankfurt - and can thus avoid without detours to the Mainkai.

Those who prefer to experience the event at home: the Eintracht motorcade and the reception in the Römer and the celebration of the team on the balcony of the Römer will be broadcast live on television at Hessischer Rundfunk, live streaming at EintrachtTV and live coverage on all channels of Hit Radio FFH.
