The city shines in a sea of colorful flowers. Since last autumn, a total of 200,000 flower bulbs have been planted in various parks and green spaces in the city center. The results are now clearly visible, as tulips, daffodils, ornamental leeks and grape hyacinths are currently in full bloom.
The generous ribbons of flowers in Grüneburgpark, which cover an area of 2,000 square meters, are particularly impressive. These were planted for the first time using a bulb planting machine.
In addition to Grüneburgpark, spring-flowering bulbs were also planted in Walter-Kolb-Straße, Holzhausenpark, Rothschildpark and Taunusanlage.
The different varieties of daffodils, including Pink Pride, Golden Harvest and Ice Follies, as well as tulips, such as Ile de France, Olympic Flame and Pink Impression, give the green spaces a diverse and colorful atmosphere.
