If you've ever been to an event where there was food from the food truck, you definitely know the distinctive vehicle from Goose. Not only because the truck, which used to be used in French movies, is a real eye-catcher. But also because the gourmet waffles that are offered here are really damn delicious. It doesn't matter whether you opt for sweet variants or one of the sophisticated savoury creations - GOOSE's waffles are always a treat.
Now Gökhan Kaba and Patrick Bruch have added event catering to their business, which they run from the Bahnhofsviertel. In order to also make perfect use of the premises in Ludwigstraße, it was decided to also offer a lunch menu during the week. In addition to soups and salads, the waffles are of course the focus of the offer. Whether hearty thyme waffles with apple cream cheese Crème, pink roast beef, radish, lamb's lettuce and organic cress, or the 7-herb waffle with cubes of veal tip, horseradish mousse, pea cream and wild herbs, or the sweet versions such as the chocolate waffles with liquid centre, gooseberry compote, white chocolate and cubeb pepper - GOOSE's waffles are always a feast for the eye and the taste buds.
Here, with great attention to detail and refined experimentation, truly unusual but always tasty waffle creations are brought to the plate. And the fact that they are no longer only available from the food truck and that the GOOSE team has now found a permanent home in the Palmengarten in Gallus after a brief guest appearance in the Villa Leonhardi can only be seen as an enrichment for culinary Frankfurt. So if you want to bring a breath of fresh air into your lunch break, you should definitely stop by Ludwigstraße.
