Great wine market with 17 vintners in the Schoppenhof of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt
Enjoying for a good cause With rising temperatures, the open-air season at the Schoppenhof of the Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt also finally begins. Wine lovers can look forward to a very special highlight: the wine market. After its successful debut last year, this will take place in 2017 on May 21, starting at 12:00 pm. 17 wineries from five German wine-growing regions as well as two cider presses from Frankfurt will present their noble drops, far more than 40 growths will be ready for tasting. To make sure that the wine doesn't go to the guests' heads too much during the tasting, there will of course be culinary specialties from the hotel kitchen again this year, matching the wine selection at more than 20 stands. Whether hay soup, onion tart, barbecue specialties, tarte flambée, raclette or Crèpes in different variations - the selection of hearty as well as sweet dishes offered by chef Stefanos Melianos and his team is abundant. A live band will provide the background music. Visitors can win vouchers and overnight stays in a Kempinski hotel at a raffle. Tickets for the wine market are available directly at the hotel and cost 10 euro in advance, 12 euro on site. The price includes an engraved wine glass for tasting. The good cause is included, as all proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will go to the Kinderhilfestiftung e.V. Frankfurt.
