Learning Festival for Families at the Orangerie in Günthersburgpark

(kus) On Sunday, November 27, from 2 to 5 p.m.<//b>, the Orangerie of the Kinderschutzbund in Günthersburgpark, Comeniusstraße 39, will become a greenhouse for the future. At a colorful learning festival for young and old, one can inform oneself, experiment, tinker and solve tasks on topics from the learning workshops "What is (m)a T-shirt worth?", "Recycling" and "The smart house: passive house". Visitors to the learning festival set shining examples of sustainability and climate protection in the dark season. They can experiment with wind generators and Christmas pyramids, tinker with mini-makeathons, roast, grind and brew their own coffee, solder solar lights, make their own paper Christmas cards, upcycle glass bottles they have brought along themselves, learn tips and tricks for saving energy and marvel at how much water is in a T-shirt.

The family festival takes place on the occasion of "Fit for the Future - Learning Sustainability in Frankfurt", for which Frankfurt was awarded the UNESCO World Action Programme on Education for Sustainable Development. The association Umweltlernen offers the festival in cooperation with the FES, Krea-Re, the Energy Department as well as the City Education Office, the State Education Office and the German Child Protection Association Frankfurt
