Hessen-Center Frankfurt is new member of the trade association Bergen-Enkheim e.V.

Now it's done! The Hessen-Center Frankfurt is a new member of the trade association Bergen-Enkheim e.V. since Friday. This was decided on 12.04.2019 at the annual general meeting of the trade association with a large majority by the members. The reason for the admission is to be found in the fact that the structures of the retail trade are changing sustainably. This includes factors such as demographic change, changing consumer behaviour, technological innovations and digitalisation. These factors and the growing importance of the multifunctionality of local locations, as well as the ongoing digitization of the economy and society, present us with new challenges.

"The retail sector must stick together, especially when large market players and smaller more individual retailers with good service can complement each other. Our main concern is to work out commonalities in order to strengthen the location and, last but not least, to expand it in a promising way for the future," says Olaf M. Kindt, Center Manger Hessen-Center Frankfurt. "If the surrounding trade organizes itself in order to survive in competition, it makes sense to have us involved. Ultimately, the merger can also be good for us. That's why I see our membership as absolutely positive: local, local supplier, communication meeting point for all generations, joint events and campaigns. In conclusion: we benefit from each other," Kindt continues.

The Bergen-Enkheim district has an extremely interesting environment: for example, along the Borsigallee with many interesting individual retail and entertainment concepts but also many popular franchise partners.

Frank Weil, chairman of the Bergen-Enkheim trade association, is delighted to have gained the Hessen-Center Frankfurt as a new member. "Finally, competitors are becoming partners. Now retailers and the shopping centre are moving closer together. A joint approach at the location - that is our goal. That's what we're working on."

With its approximately 115 specialty stores, the Hessen-Center Frankfurt is the shopping experience in Frankfurt's east. The branch mix, which is individually tailored to the region, is a shopping and communication hub. In a covered shopping street on a sales area of approx. 38,000 sqm, the center combines a department store, clothing stores and fashion boutiques, specialty shops for jeans and leisure wear, shoes and accessories as well as perfumeries and service shops, caf<x>ampersand</x>eacute;s and restaurants. Throughout the year, the Hessen-Center Frankfurt offers its many visitors interesting and spectacular promotions and events every day, making shopping an experience.
