(ffm) Due to damage to the overhead line, the U2 line is temporarily not running between Heddernheim and Kalbach. The stations Riedwiese/Mertonviertel and Sandelmühle are not served, as the trains are diverted via Niederursel and Riedberg. The VGF otherwise refers passengers to bus route 29.
For reasons still unknown, the overhead contact line of the U2 line was damaged at 8:49 am on Friday, 27 July. Nobody was injured; the passengers could leave the train standing in the disturbed section independently. The repair work of the VGF is ongoing.
