(kus) During bridge construction work by the Office of Road Construction and Development (ASE), two lanes will be available inbound and one lane outbound on Hanauer Landstraße between Hugo-Junkers-Straße and Dieselstraße From Wednesday, August 9, until the end of 2018.
A replacement for one additional outbound lane will be provided via the existing truck detour route via Diesel Street, Carl Benz Street, Adam Opel Street and Ernst Heinkel Street. Cyclists and pedestrians will be able to pass through the construction site. There is a detour recommendation for out-of-town traffic.
For trucks, the previously mentioned detour route continues to apply inbound and outbound. Tonnage is expected to be reduced from the current 30 tons to 12 tons beginning in the fall until the new replacement structure is constructed.
Two full closures of Hanauer Landstraße are planned for October, each on weekends. We will of course also inform you about this.
