New ARD radio Tatort by Frankfurt author Martin Mosebach

New ARD radio Tatort by Frankfurt author Martin Mosebach

For 50 years, TATORT has simply been part of the perfect Sunday evening weekend finale for many. But did you know that there is the TATORT not only for the eye, but also for the ears? Since 2008, the joint project ARD Radio Tatort has been providing acoustic thrills once a month with original radio plays by prominent authors. The latest ARD Radio Tatort "Sesame, close!" comes from Hessischer Rundfunk and premieres on Wednesday, February 10, at 9 pm. After that, it will be available as a podcast. With them are old Tatort acquaintances: Susanne Schäfer and Felix von Manteuffel - as well as Ole Lagerpusch. The hr2 radio play was written by Frankfurt author Martin Mosebach.

And that's what "Sesame, close!" is about: At first, lawyer Friesel could still be happy about the cheap property in one of the outskirts of Bonames, but the nouveau riche pimped bungalow from the estate auction holds a gruesome surprise in a nuclear bomb-proof basement dungeon: the mummified corpse of a man who died amidst an imposing collection of exclusive and most expensive wines and champagnes. For Inspector Haas (Felix von Manteuffel) and his assistant Teschenmacher (Ole Lagerpusch), two questions now arise: Who is the man? And how on earth did he get into the bunker?

That sounds like exciting radio play entertainment. So if you want to cozy up on the sofa or in bed with an entertaining dose of TATORT, don't miss "Sesame, Close!"
