With restrictions, a very nice excursion destination in Frankfurt may reopen: From Monday, March 15, the outdoor area of the pheasantry of the information center StadtWaldHaus may open again for registered groups - the first time in almost four months. Within the framework of one-hour guided tours, various species of wild animals occurring in Germany can be observed in enclosures and aviaries and acquaintance with animals and plants of the spring forest can be made.
Of course, some rules must be observed: You are required to wear medical mouth/nose protection at all times while on the grounds of the Information Center. Appointments can be booked on weekdays from Monday to Thursday between 9 am and 4 pm. Unfortunately, the StadtWaldHaus building will remain closed for the time being. The forest shop is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m.
To book a tour, contact Rainer Berg by email at rainer.berg@stadt-frankfurt.de as well as in the StadtWaldHaus by e-mail to stadtwaldhaus@stadt-frankfurt.de or under telephone 069/683239 possible.
