The concept store all about enjoyment and design - From 30 November to 22. December 2019
It has become a fine institution during the Christmas season: the MARKET BESONDERES SCHENKEN, which invites visitors to browse, discover and buy in the foyer of the Museum Angewandte Kunst. In this truly special concept store all about enjoyment and design, you can purchase products of the highest artisanal quality from small manufactories and craft businesses from the region. This year, the influence of the HOUSE OF NORWAY exhibition is clearly noticeable. For in addition to preserves, coffee, honey, leather bags, porcelain, handmade wrapping paper, notebooks or bowls, there will also be Norwegian reindeer and moose salami and aquavit, as well as products by famous Norwegian designers such as furniture, lamps, home accessories and silver jewellery.
At Advent weekends, a visit to the small market is especially worthwhile, because then the Emma Metzler restaurant in the museum foyer offers coffee, cake, wine and Norwegian aquavit from 12 to 4 pm. Delicious!
The MARKET SPECIAL GIFTS can be visited from Saturday, November 30, 2019, to Sunday, December 22, 2019, during the following opening hours: Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., Wednesdays from noon to 8 p.m.
