Frankfurter Pudding - Variation 2

If the first variation of Frankfurter Pudding doesn't particularly appeal to you, why not try this one? For this you will need the following ingredients:

Ingredients

- 125 grams of butter

- 4 eggs

- 100 grams of sugar

- 100 grams of ladyfingers

- 20 grams rum

- Lemon juice (1 lemon)

- Cinnamon

- Clove powder

- 100 grams of hazelnut semolina

Preparation:

First take 50 grams of sugar, the butter, a pinch of cinnamon and clove powder and mix it with 4 egg yolks (be sure to save the whites). Beat the whole thing until it becomes nice and fluffy. Now take the ladyfingers and crumble them into small crumbs and stir them into the custard, as well as the hazelnut semolina and rum. In a separate bowl, whip another 50 grams of sugar with the remaining egg whites and fold into the pudding mixture. The whole thing now goes into greased pudding molds, which is then baked in a water bath at 170 degrees in the oven for about 40 minutes. Then carefully remove the moulds and turn them out onto a plate. And already this variant of the frankfurter pudding is ready to serve!
