Sour Cream Cookies

Sour cream cookies are one of those treats that taste delicious at any time of year. But especially at Christmas time, with a nice cup of hot tea, the taste of this biscuit really comes out. To make them, you will need the following ingredients:

Ingredients

- 125 grams of sour cream

- 175 grams of butter + 1 extra stick of butter to coat

- 1 tbsp sugar

- 1 pinch of salt

- 250 grams of flour

- 1/2 tsp baking powder

- Hail sugar

Preparation:

Stir the butter first until it is fluffy and then stir in the sour cream, sugar, flour, baking powder and pinch of salt. Mix until you get a smooth dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface (approx. 3-5 mm thick) and cut out the cookies with a round shape.

Place the cut out cookies on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Now melt a piece of butter in a pot, with which you then coat the cookies. This will help the sugar to stick to the surface when you sprinkle it on the cookies. Now put the whole thing in the oven preheated to 220 degrees (convection oven 200 degrees) and let the sour cream cookies bake there for about 10 minutes.
