.On Sunday, 27. March, at 6 p.m., a benefit evening in solidarity with Ukraine will be held at the Haus am Dom, Domplatz 3, featuring numerous authors.
In the face of war and its consequences, broad helplessness is felt, but Frankfurt's literary institutions also have at least the language to show solidarity with Ukraine, the victims of war and the refugees. Many of Frankfurt's formative authors will come together this evening to read from texts by their Ukrainian colleagues. Oksana Sabushko, Yevgenia Belorusets, Serhij Zhadan, Andrij Lubka, Halyna Kruk and many more will have their say.
Taking part are Henning Ahrens, Matthias Altenburg, Zsuzsa Bánk, Yevgeniy Breyger, Safiye Can, Eva Demski, Julia Grinberg, Saskia Hennig von Lange, Dirk Huelstrunk, Bodo Kirchhoff, Dalibor Marković, Anna Yeliz Schentke, Jan Costin Wagner and Jan Wilm.
Admission is free, generous donations are requested. The proceeds of the evening will go to the emergency aid Ukraine at Action Alliance Disaster Relief. For registration by e-mail until Friday, March 24, to anmeldung@hlfm.de is requested.
The then valid access rules of the state of Hesse apply (currently: 3G as well as mask obligation in the interior).
