24,318 euros: Frankfurt rows for the Kinderhilfestiftung Frankfurt

Actor Hannes Jaenicke, the Lotto fairy Franziska Reichenbacher, the magician Nicolai Friedrich, the Influencerin Galia Brenner, the Frankfurt Maßatelier Stephan Görner and Bärbel Schäfer - they and other celebrities sat down on 29. September on the rowing bench and put themselves for the good purpose into the oars.

As already in the year before BMW Hessen and the Frankfurt rowing company Germania had invited to the large rowing ergometer donation action. A good 32 teams, including numerous companies, clubs and institutions such as the Frankfurter Sparkasse and the Initiative Gastronomie Frankfurt e. V. competed against each other on the Roßmarkt. Together with Frankfurt citizens they rowed 24,318 euros in favor of the Kinderhilfestiftung Frankfurt and its project of the "Psychologische Soforthilfe Frankfurt" for children and young people.

"The result can be seen and I am very pleased that we can donate such' high sum to the Kinderhilfestiftung," notes Axel Juhre, head of BMW Niederlassungverbund Mitte. "BMW Frankfurt is a reliable sponsor of our foundation and the Psychological Emergency Aid," explains Dr. Michael Henning, Chairman of the Board of the Kinderhilfestiftung Frankfurt e. V. "The project is very close to our hearts and the support of Axel Juhre and his team is incredibly valuable." The Psychological Immediate Help is a now indispensable point of contact for children and young people with mental health problems. It was established in 2021 by the Children's Aid Foundation in cooperation with the University Hospital Frankfurt.

Influencers Galia Brener-Rexroth, tailor Stephan Görner with entrepreneur Nicole Ruppel and magician Nicolai Friedrich also worked up a sweat at the sporting charity event. On behalf of Prime Minister Boris Rhein, patron of Psychological Emergency Aid, Uwe Becker, State Secretary for European Affairs and Commissioner of the Hessian State Government for Jewish Life and the Fight against Anti-Semitism, welcomed the rowers together with Stephanie Wüst, Head of the Department of Economics.
The team from VR Bank Dreieich filled the donation battery the most and took first place with their performance. For their efforts, they received a gift from Axel Juhre of a test drive weekend with the new BMW i5. The electric BMW 5 Series could look at the participants of the rowing event and all spectators already long before the official market launch on October 21 in detail on the Roßmarkt.

"All in one boat - rowing for a good cause" is part of the charity campaign "Drive sustainably, do good", which the branch already organizes in the second year: For every test drive kilometer with an electrified BMW or MINI, the branches in Hesse will donate a certain amount to the Kinderhilfestiftung e. V. Frankfurt until October. This in turn invests the money in the "Psychological Emergency Aid Frankfurt"
