Einstein Kaffee - Berliner Kult-Café auf dem Römerberg

Einstein Kaffee - Berliner Kult-Café auf dem Römerberg

Category: Cafes & Bistros

Einstein Kaffee has a real tradition in its home city of Berlin. There are now 22 branches in the capital alone, with others in Potsdam, Belgium and even Egypt. After Frankfurt also got a branch near the main station in 2015, there is now a second branch on the Römerberg for some time. And let's be honest: you couldn't ask for a better location in Frankfurt. Founded in 1978, the premium brand is committed to quality. And you can taste it in the coffee. Inspired by Viennese coffeehouse culture, the franchise company not only offers tasty coffee from its own roastery, but also really delicious cakes, tartlets and macarons. A delicious apple strudel or a juicy strawberry tartlet with a cup of coffee? Simply delicious!

The atmosphere of the branch at the Römer is sleek, modern and cozy. Of course, it is especially charming to grab one of the seats in front of the Café when the sun is shining and enjoy the beautiful view of the Römerberg and watch the passing groups of tourists. Especially with the coffee, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. The cake is with 4,90 € per piece not quite so cheap, but can score for it tastefully.

Of course, franchises always have the problem that they lack the individual touch that many smaller Cafés can score with. But the mixture of old coffee house tradition and modern to-go offers is coherent and fits very well in Frankfurt - both at the Römerberg, as well as near the train station in Düsseldorfer Straße (although of course the view there is nowhere near as nice). If you just want to take some nice time out with a good cup of coffee, you can't really go wrong with a visit to Einstein Kaffee.
