Two surprise movies in one evening in a packed theater
Cinema is a beautiful thing. And sometimes a trip to the movies like this can hold a tangible surprise. Especially when you don't choose a movie from the regular program, but go to the sneak. Until the moment the film starts, the audience doesn't know what to expect. It can be a real highlight, but also a complete flop. And while there's just no guarantee that you're going to like the movie, sneaks are enormously popular.
In the Frankfurt EKINOS, the surprise films have been attracting numerous viewers week after week since 2008, always on Wednesdays at 8:30 pm in the cinemas. After 11 years of Sneak, the 500th Sneak Preview was shown in the EKINOS last Wednesday evening. Reason for a very special sneak: For the anniversary, the EKINOS showed that evening in a "Double Sneak" two films, "The Miracle Exercise" and the comedy "Overboard".
Before the film started, the EKINOS team welcomed the guests with a champagne reception in the cinema foyer. Here there was also the opportunity to participate in a raffle, in which five participants could look forward to winning a free annual ticket for the weekly sneak. The team of EKINOS was not only happy about a really great atmosphere in the hall, but also about many kind words and congratulations! The best conditions for the next 500 Sneak Previews!
