Seehotel Niedernberg is celebrating its 25th anniversary. From 18 to 21 September, the four-star superior hotel on the Bavarian Hessian Lower Main invites guests to enjoy four days of indulgence, culture and adventure.
From ensemble to village by the lake
On 18 September 2000, the construction of six houses with 46 rooms and a small chapel laid the foundation for today's ensemble. Since then, the "village by the lake" has grown steadily. Among other things, the Seeschlösschen was expanded with additional guest rooms, the peninsula with a boathouse, orangery, log cabin and fisherman's hut, a dedicated conference centre and striking new buildings such as the tower house, half-timbered house on the village square and the park with outdoor swimming pool and sauna.
Today, the complex covers 66,000 square metres and comprises 15 buildings. 115 rooms and suites, 15 conference and event rooms, wellness areas and themed experience locations such as the Freundehaus, log cabin, garden house and the "Wellnessscheune Wolke 7" wellness barn form the backdrop. A new addition is the Villa MainTraum with ten rooms and six penthouse suites, including a vintage car museum.
Economic success and growing guest numbers
Around 600,000 guests have visited the Seehotel Niedernberg over the past 25 years. In 2024 alone, turnover increased by 64 per cent compared to the previous year. For the current year, the hotel has already recorded a 21 per cent increase in guests by June.
Anniversary programme between Charleston and culinary expedition
The festivities begin on 18 September with the "Champagne kisses Charleston" evening, a four-course meal and music by the "Freaky Blinders". The following day, chef Karim Lohr will set the culinary tone with a five-course menu accompanied by magician Harry Keaton. 20 September will be marked by a "wild culinary expedition through the entire hotel", before the finale is celebrated on 21 September with "Brunch & Bazar" and musical accompaniment by Ernest Nadaprem.
