In bright sunshine, visitors flocked to the Gesellschaftshaus in the Palmengarten last Sunday to pay a visit to the Apfelwein International Messe. Exhibitors from all over the world proved that a good stöffchen is not only appreciated in Frankfurt. Visitors were able to taste their way through various cider creations, whereby not only the different apple varieties, but also sometimes very unusual flavour combinations provided many a taste surprise.
In the beautiful atmosphere of the Gesellschaftshaus in the Palmengarten, there was tasting, talking shop and looking beyond the end of one's nose. Whether delicious drops from the region, but also from England, South Tyrol, Ireland, the Czech Republic, France, Austria or Denmark, this year's guest country of the fair, cider lovers really got their money's worth here. A shop that allowed visitors to buy or order products right on the spot, a small "Freßgass", delicacies such as jams, cider sorbet and all sorts of products related to the love of cider were also presented here.
Frankfurt-Tipp.de was also on site. As part of our BEST OF campaign, we asked visitors for their favourite of the fair. The feedback was great! We will of course inform you about the results shortly!
