Mascots in all imaginable colours and shapes, colourful bouncy castles, painting and craft stations, live stage programme with broadcast on a screen measuring over 400 square metres: at Festival4Family, more than 32,000 visitors experienced hundreds of attractions and highlights. One of them was the presentation of the Italian National Tourist Board ENIT. The organisation contributed to the charity event with a stand in the Commerzbank Arena as well as a contribution to the programme on the main stage, where hr3 Morningshow presenter Tobi Kämmerer guided through the varied programme throughout the day.
The Hessian summer holidays are just around the corner. That's why families at the Italy stand took the opportunity to talk to experts about the country's most popular holiday regions and take away information material to take home. While the parents were engaged in lively discussions and concrete holiday plans with the stand staff, the children were able to spin the wheel of fortune and win ice cream vouchers and small gifts. For an unforgettable memory or to look forward to the next holiday in Bella Italia, a photo box was also available. Here, families could have their pictures taken in front of a picturesque backdrop in Apulia or in front of the Roman Forum, for example.
Italy also inspired visitors on stage. Celebrity chef Mirko Reeh hosted a children's cooking show here as an ambassador and lover of the country. In no time at all he conjured up a tasty and child's play Italian pasta salad with a guarantee of success. So that as many visitors as possible could enjoy the salad, Mirko Reeh didn't miss the opportunity to stop by the Italy stand with his dish to hand out small tasting portions and be available for questions and selfies.
