BigCityBeats celebrates birthday at Festhalle

BigCityBeats managing director Bernd Breiter and his wife Carina can look back with pride on a 15-year success story. BigCityBeats has long since become a household name among fans of electronic music all over the world, and the big WORLD CLUB DOME has become one of the scene's most important festivals, celebrated not only in Frankfurt but also in Asia, on cruise ships, on trains and even in zero gravity. So it's no wonder that 15 years of BigCityBeats had to be celebrated with a big party. On Friday, the time had finally come: as part of the Musikmesse Festival, the big party got underway in the Festhalle. As early as 8.30 p.m., long queues formed in front of the entrance to the fair. Many party-goers waited in good spirits for the entrance at 10 p.m. to secure the best seats directly in front of the stage. On the red carpet, photos were taken with the BigCityBeats officials and some star guests.

Bernd and Carina Breiter thanked everyone who made this success possible. To celebrate, they even invited some of the DJs from the very beginning who were in the audience and also the dancers who were on site have been on board since the beginning of the events - a big BigCityBeats family, after all. BigCityBeats was born out of a "crazy idea" that the Breiters continued to develop. The fact that they were initially "declared crazy" by some for wanting to set up such a company didn't stop them from pursuing their dream. It was worth it. And so the two of them and their team are now looking forward to the next big event, the "World Club Dome Space Edition" in June in the Commerzbank Arena. They have even managed to convince the ESA to come on board. Together they plan to assemble a real Ariane 5 rocket at the World Club Dome. Once again, that will be a real highlight!

For the future of BigCityBeats, Breiter then had a very special treat to announce. To thunderous applause, he revealed that they would be reviving the legendary "Dorian Gray" club from the 90s - in the form of a PopUp club at Frankfurt Airport, with a number of events, true to the motto "Keep the spirit alive".

The birthday show started with German DJane Lovra, followed by German DJ Alle Farben. It really didn't take long for the 7,000 people in the sold-out Festhalle to get cooking. The atmosphere then reached its peak with the Birthday Show and the song "Happy Birthday BigCityBeats", which everyone in the audience sang along to, as well as the set by DJ Timmy Trumpet from Australia, who put on a mega show with his trumpet. The German resident DJ of Big City Beats, Le Shuuk from Stuttgart, could easily keep up this good mood. Together with the fans, they all created a unique atmosphere that will be long remembered by all present.

When the show came to an end around 4 o'clock, everyone present was tired but happy. An all-round successful birthday and a rousing foretaste of the WORLD CLUB DOME in June! Happy Birthday, BigCityBeats!
