"It's getting more and more difficult to implement what Bernd Breiter comes up with," revealed city councillor Markus Frank at the press conference. But once again this year it was possible to get all the permits through. After all, the city of Frankfurt is well aware of the international significance of the festival. At the beginning, one would not have expected such a development, Frank reveals. But the festival, which has also become a successful export hit with offshoots in Asia, does the image of Frankfurt as a young, international city a lot of good.
For the first time, the three-day party in 2018 will have a motto: the "Hollywood Edition" will be celebrated. Some international stars will walk the world's longest red carpet (who, has not yet been revealed). In addition, there will be a large pop-up cinema in cooperation with the Kinopolis chain. A real touch of Hollywood will blow over the festival area. But there will also be the tried and tested - even bigger and more spectacular than before. The Main Stage in the arena will again be used to its full capacity this year. There will also be the WCD Pool Sessions in the stadium pool again. And if you want to get a little spooky while partying, you'll get your money's worth at the new Zombie Stage.
Afrojack, Alle Farben, Axwell/\Ingrosso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Eric Prydz, Gestört aber Geil, Le Shuuk, Lost Frequencies or Tiesto are part of the international line-up, which will provide lush beats and mega atmosphere on the different stages. Supported by the latest technology, including over 20,000 sqm of LED surface and supplied by over 48km of power cables, there will be one thing for sure during the three days: Boredom! But despite all the partying, the safety of the visitors is of particular concern to the organisers. It should be guaranteed that no one has to worry about their safety, not only on the premises, but also on the way to the WORLD CLUB DOME and back home again. This is also ensured by the close cooperation with the RMV (local public transport company), which is significantly expanding its services this weekend. After all, up to 55,000 visitors per day are expected - and they want to be transported, too.
You can be sure: This WORLD CLUB DOME will once again be a real event. The team around Bernd and Carina Breiter has once again made the impossible possible. Bernd Breiter already has ideas on how he wants to top this mega event. Of course he doesn't want to reveal anything yet, because after all the "Hollywood Edition" is supposed to put the visitors from more than 60 countries into an enthusiastic party frenzy.
