What makes a visit to a restaurant, café or bar particularly successful? Just the quality of food and drinks? Or the ambience of the location? Certainly, these are decisive aspects. But service is also incredibly important. A friendly smile, a nice chat, helpfulness and spontaneity when it comes to special requests - all this can put the icing on the cake of a successful visit to your favorite restaurant. It is all the sadder that many service staff have turned their backs on the restaurant business during the pandemic. Understandably, because without guests and without the necessary tips, the short-time allowance was not enough at the back and front. And who found elsewhere a possibly safer job, then also after the reopening of the catering trade did not come back.
Binding would now like to pay a very special tribute to all those service staff who have remained true to their profession despite the crisis, who prove themselves day after day to be memory geniuses, entertainers or buddy types, who continue to smile with a full tray, many orders and even more extra requests in their heads and serve a snappy saying with their beer, and is launching a new competition for this purpose, which is called: Favorite waitress or favorite waiter wanted!
Pearls among the service staff
"The gastronomy makes our everyday life a bit more livable. Especially in the last two years, we have noticed more than ever: delicious food, a freshly tapped beer and socializing with others are irreplaceable," knows Claudia Geisler, Marketing/PR at Binding. "But we can't enjoy that without waiters and waitresses. Therefore, we are now looking for the pearls among the service staff, which particularly inspire their guests."

"From all nominations, our jury will then select ten finalists, who will face an online vote from June 15 on. So every vote counts until July 20!" says Claudia Geisler. Great prizes await the winners: Binding is offering a prize of 5,000 euros for first place. Second place receives 3,000 euros and third place 2,000 euros.
