Biyon Kattilathu receives myticket Jahrhunderthalle's Durchstarter Award

On Wednesday evening, myticket Jahrhunderthalle presented its Durchstarter Award to author and entertainer Biyon Kattilathu. Kattilathu made a guest appearance that evening with his current stage program "Lebe. Love. Laugh." in the building's large domed auditorium. The Durchstarter Award is presented to artists:inside who have made the leap from the club to the large domed hall of the myticket Jahrhunderthalle.

On his last visit to the myticket Jahrhunderthalle, in November 2022, Biyon Kattilathu was still performing on the stage of the sold-out club, the smaller venue of the house. Last Wednesday night, he filled the venue with his current, second solo program "Lebe. Love. Lache." for the first time the large, more than 2,000-guest Kuppelsaal and also ensured a sold-out house here.

Biyon Kattilathu's stage career began in 2019 with his very first live show, "Because every day is special," at the club in Frankfurt's Jahrhunderthalle. Since then, he has performed a total of seven times at the venue's small venue, always as part of sold-out double shows. With a mixture of motivational training, cabaret and advice wrapped up in anecdotes, Biyon Kattilathu inspires his audience. And this with great success. On this occasion, Managing Director Moritz Jaeschke presented the emblematic
Durchstarter Award in the form of a launching rocket shortly before the show began on the big stage. "Biyon Kattilathu has had a remarkable career and an extraordinary success story. Not that it has remained with a degree with doctorate, as well as several bestseller publications. No, now he is still absolutely successful live entertainer, who draws thousands of people to his shows just from the power of his authentic content.

We award the Durchstarter Award with great pleasure to Biyon Kattilathu and thank him and his tour organizer Konzertbüro Augsburg, as well as the local partner S-Promotion for the continued loyalty to our house," said Moritz Jaeschke during the award ceremony. "My very first show took place in the Jahrhunderthalle club in 2019. The atmosphere was so awesome and that was the start of my stage career. I still remember how I secretly sneaked through the backstage into the big hall after the show. I stood there on stage for minutes and "played" my show in front of the empty stands. That's when this dream was born in me to one day fill those empty tiers," Biyon Kattilathu recalls. "I still can't really believe that this dream has now really come true. It is with a great deal of gratitude and humility that I accept this award and would like to thank my promoter, the
Konzertbüro Augsburg, Erwin, Maria, Nadine and the entire great team that has been behind me from the very beginning. Thanks to my outstanding team on site: Philip, Dete, Harald, Yves, Chris, Mario, Boki and all the helpers and assistants. A big thank you to David, who has believed in us and this idea since the beginning and puts so much heart and passion into it. Thank you to the entire team of the
"Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt", that you offer us artists with so much commitment this wonderful stage and we are allowed to shape together with you a piece of the culture in Germany."
