Bomb discovery in the Gallus - Info on the evacuation from FFM Aktuell

A 125kg World War II bomb was found in the Gallus. This is now to be defused in the night of Tuesday (30.10.). For this purpose, a radius around the site of the discovery at Europa-Allee 90 must be cleared. The evacuation is to be completed by Monday, 20 o'clock.

You should have left this area by 8:00pm. Please adhere to this, as any delay will push back the overall process. As soon as the fire department and police inform you that the evacuation has been lifted, you can return to your home or workplace. The end of the lockdown will be announced via the media and on the website: www.feuerwehr-frankfurt.de announced.
All people in need of ambulance or disabled transport are requested to contact the unlocked Citizens' Helpline on 069 / 212-111 as soon as possible.
If you do not know where to go, i.e. if you do not have any family / friends in the immediate vicinity with whom you can temporarily stay, you can go to the care centre in Messehalle 5 from about 19:15, access via Gate East (near Skyline Plaza).
The preliminary plan for the defusing is currently as follows:

21:00 hrs to 23:00 hrs control of the evacuated areas by the police.
Defusing the bomb is expected to begin around 11:00 pm (expected to end around 1:00 am). Depending on the condition of the detonator, defusing may take longer.
