Bundesliga match Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich live on free-TV

Cooperation between Sky and ZDF for Bundesliga duel on 02.11.2019

It is always a duel of the extra class, when the Frankfurt Eintracht meets Bayern Munich. At least since the legendary DFB Cup final in May 2018, you can look forward to football of a particularly rousing kind in a match between the two traditional clubs. Tickets for these games are of course highly sought after and quickly sold out. But for all fans who did not get tickets for the football Bundesliga highlight on 02 November, there is good news: Sky and ZDF have agreed on a cooperation. The two channels will broadcast the live match in parallel from 15:30. Sky will promote its high-quality Bundesliga product extensively during the broadcast. On the one hand, Sky expert Dietmar Hamann will be on site as a discussion guest of ZDF, and on the other hand, Sky will run prominently placed commercials.

Hans Gabbe, Senior Vice President Sports Rights & Commercialization Sky Deutschland, is pleased about this cooperation: "We are enabling ZDF to broadcast the Bundesliga match Eintracht Frankfurt against Bayern Munich live. In this way, we are promoting our Sky Bundesliga product and German football in general. By cooperating with ZDF, which has a wide reach, we are making the match accessible to a particularly large TV audience."

The head of ZDF sports, Thomas Fuhrmann, also sees the broadcast on both channels as extremely positive: "The match promises great sport, as the recent games between Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern Munich have shown. We are therefore delighted to be able to present ZDF viewers with another top Bundesliga match live. This is a real win-win situation: for the fans, for the league and for both broadcasters."

Sky will begin its coverage on Saturday, November 2, 2019 as usual at 2:00 p.m., while on ZDF, presenter Katrin Müller-Hohenstein and Sky expert Dietmar Hamann will report live from Frankfurt from around 3:15 p.m. onwards. The reporter for the match will be Oliver Schmidt. The match will also be broadcast on Sky. In addition, it will be part of the original Sky conference.

In addition to the broadcasters, all the fans who can not be in the stadium and do not receive Sky at home will also benefit. They can all join in the excitement and keep their fingers crossed for a home victory for Eintracht!
