Celebrating for a good cause - Great success at the 6th 'Kleider machen Leute' Charity Gala

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, the great charity gala "Kleider machen Leute" took place for the sixth time at the Hotel Kempinski Gravenbruch. The gala, which was also supported by Trifels Verlag with Frankfurt-Tipp.de, had to be postponed twice due to the pandemic. However, with a strict 2G-Plus hygiene concept, the approximately 250 guests were finally able to enjoy the great program that the initiators Stephan Görner and Sven Müller had put together and celebrate exuberantly until the early hours of the morning. This was especially easy during the performance of Penny Ford /SNAP!, who sang her big hits "The Power" and "Rhythm is a dancer" and thus set the brilliant starting signal for a hot party night. "Weatherman" Thomas Ranft, who had stepped in at short notice as a moderator, led very charmingly and skillfully through the evening.

One of the highlights of the gala was once again the VIP fashion show. Virologist Hendrik Streeck, the actors Richy Müller (Tatort) and Martin Semmelrogge (Das Boot), moderator Kena Amoa and pole vaulter Katharina Bauer showed on the catwalk the chic fashion of Frankfurt's well-known tailor Stephan Görner. And even hairy visitors from a galaxy far, far away did not miss the opportunity to drop by the glamorous event. After all, it was all about a good cause. There the Catwalk VIPs did not have to be persuaded also for a long time to the Mitmachen: The guests see it us surely after and know that we are no professional models, but for children got into emergency to do something good, is then evenly nevertheless important and therefore I agreed after short hesitation the appearance also gladly", said for instance Virologist Hendrik Streeck to its participation.

A total of 23,000 euros was collected for charity on the evening. Beneficiaries were the LEBERECHT Foundation with 13,800 euros and Save the Children with 9,200 euros. The LEBERECHT Foundation is committed for more than 70 years for children in need and their families and Save the Children cares among other things for families who have fled from Ukraine, which currently need many aids.
