Changes to buses and trains due to CSD demonstration march

Trams and buses disrupted or diverted

(ffm) On Saturday, July 20, the Christopher Street Day demonstration will take place in downtown Frankfurt. Due to the closure of Bleichstraße, the buses of the rail replacement service in the direction of Konstablerwache must be diverted from about 12 pm until probably 16 pm. The SEV buses will travel via Adickesallee, Nibelungenallee and Friedberger Landstraße - here the bus stops Rohrbachstraße/Friedberger Landstraße, Friedberger Platz and Hessendenkmal will be served - and will reach their final stop at Konstablerwache via Seilerstraße.

Bus routes 30 and 36 will also operate on a restricted basis from 12pm to 4pm: Line 30 will only run between Bad Vilbel, Friedberger Warte and Bornheim Mitte, while line 36 will be split: From Westbahnhof it runs via Eckenheimer Landstraße to Unterweg and back, coming from Hainer Weg it ends at Südbahnhof.

The tram lines 11, 12, 14 and 18 will be interrupted or diverted from about 10 am to 4 pm: Line 11 from Höchst will end at Willy-Brandt-Platz, and to the east it will be diverted from Fechenheim to Lokalbahnhof. Line 12 from Schwanheim runs via Südbahnhof, Zoo and Eissporthalle to Fechenheim and back. Line 14 only runs between Gustavsburgplatz and Hauptbahnhof (south side). Line 18 takes the detour via Bornheim and Zoo between Nibelungenplatz and Hospital zum Heiligen Geist.

The U4 and U7 subway lines offer more space through the night with additional cars. The Ebbelwei-Express of the VGF runs via Sachsenhausen and starts only at 15.50 again at the zoo.
