Charity Gala 'Dresses make the man': An evening of elegance and solidarity

When fashion meets social commitment, the result is a symbiosis of elegance and solidarity. For the ninth time, Frankfurt tailor Stephan Görner hosted the charity gala "Clothes make the man". The setting for the evening was the luxurious ambience of the Hilton Frankfurt Gravenbruch, where celebrities and business personalities gathered on Saturday, 15 March to show their appreciation for those who form the backbone of society away from the limelight.

This year's celebrity guests, who presented themselves on the catwalk in elegant customised suits, included former world boxing champion Regina Halmich, ex-professional boxer Axel Schulz, entrepreneur Natascha Ochsenknecht and art star Leon Löwentraut. The latter caused a sensation with a special highlight: His black velvet dinner jacket was not only a statement of classic tailoring, but also bore one of his own works of art in the lining - an impressive detail that united art and fashion.

In addition to the celebrity models, the main focus was on six amateurs who presented themselves in elegant wardrobe as part of the "Clothes make the man" photo campaign. The campaign, which has been creating recognition for professional groups that usually operate away from the public eye for nine years, shows tradespeople, rescue workers and other indispensable players in the city of Frankfurt in unusual elegance - a symbol of respect and appreciation for their daily work.

With a mixture of fashion show, culinary delights and an exclusive auction, the evening was not only a social event, but also a charity event of considerable success. The auction of an exclusive graphic by Leon Löwentraut and generous donations raised the considerable sum of 25,000 euros. All of the proceeds will go to the Leberecht Foundation to support children in need.

"An evening that impressively shows how fashion, art and social commitment can go hand in hand," summarised Stephan Görner. According to the initiator, the gala not only stands for style and exclusivity, but above all for cohesion and humanity - values that are invaluable in our society.
