CLOTHERS MAKE PEOPLE campaign seeks everyday corona heroes

The CLOTHES MAKE PEOPLE campaign has been honoring everyday heroes in a very special way now since 2015, showcasing people with extraordinary or dangerous professions. Recognition, appreciation and respect for these professions and the people behind them are the focus. Daniel Baldus first takes authentic photos at the workplace and then in a costume or tailor-made suit by Stephan Görner. Many great photos have already come out of this, which put the people who normally work in the "engine room" of a city in a "different light".

But this year, as almost everywhere, everything is different in this campaign. Under the slogan "Frankfurt is looking for the Coronahelden of everyday life", people are to be staged who do not do home office, but are in the front line. This can be the cashier in the supermarket, a midwife or a nurse, but also the policeman, parcel carrier or a doctor. Just people with professions that expose themselves to the risk of infection with CONVID-19, so that a city - albeit limited - functions while remaining safe and clean.

For the idea to change the motto in 2020, many prominent supporters have already been able to win, who have started a video call together with the initiators of the campaign, Stephan Görner and Sven Müller: Wolfgang Kubicki, Heiner Brand, Wolfgang Bosbach and Laura Karasek are just a few well-known personalities who are joining forces to find the Corona heroes of everyday life.

And now it's YOUR turn:

On the http://kleider-machen-leute.net/coronahelden.html you can suggest your personal Coronahelden of everyday life. Six of them will then be selected, photographed and presented at the big "Kleider machen Leute" gala! This has been moved from November 14, 2020 to Saturday, January 23, 2021. The venue will remain the Hotel Kempinski in Gravenbruch.
