Maxime Strogusch is in her second year of training to become a visual marketing designer. The profession used to be called Schauwerbegestalterin or decorator. The 22-year-old works in Dreieich for Tom Geist, one of the most respected event and trade fair designers in the Rhine-Main area. She is responsible for the beautiful decorations that you see at trade fairs, in shop windows or at high-class events.

"Often there is hard work behind the beautiful ambience, says Maxime. Laying floors, taping windows, setting up heavy furniture and covering frames with advertising motifs are just some of the jobs I do. Our clients hardly have any idea that the preparations with visualization of a stage or an exhibition stand first takes place on the PC, then in the material warehouse with assembling or building the elements up to the construction and the acceptance by organizers or authorities takes a lot of time. In addition, changes often have to be made at short notice until the guests or visitors actually come and are amazed".

The Offenthaler has already been involved in many renowned projects. For example, she and her colleagues were responsible for the scenery at a heart for children, the Sport Bild Award and the Bambi Awards.

Now Maxime Strogusch, as the first trainee herself stood in the focus and in front of the camera of Nikita Kulikov at the campaign "Clothes make the man". Bespoke tailor Stephan Görner and PR and event specialist Sven Müller set the scene for the profession of decorator in their series.

Stephan Görner: "In the campaign, twelve people with extraordinary professions are photographed in custom-made suits or costumes every year. Together with Ms. Strogusch, we chose the appropriate wardrobe for the photo shoot, namely a dark green glencheck blazer, a green skirt and a ladies' blouse with a floral pattern. All fabrics are from the British traditional weaver Hollland & Sherry." "Recognition, appreciation and respect for these women and men is the message with our campaign, because without these people a big city wouldn't function at all," adds Goerner.

Maxime Strogusch is excited about the chic outfit and will be doing double duty at the charity gala on November 11. During the day she builds the decorations for the gala in the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten with and for Tom Geist and in the evening she enjoys the show program as guest of honor.

Sven Müller, head of organisation for the event is currently putting together the programme for the long fashionable night. The patron is once again the Prime Minister of Hesse, Volker Bouffier. A ticket incl. champagne reception, 3-course menu, exquisite wines costs 250 euros in the ballroom. On the gallery with the same achievements 195 euro. A VIP fashion show, various bands and a DJ round off the programme. And of course, all the amteur models will be present in their tailor-made suits or costumes, because after all, they get to keep the fine threads.
