Club in zero gravity to preview World Club Dome 2018

After a great many stars were guests at the BigCityBeats WORLD CLUB DOME in Frankfurt last year, Bernd Breiter and his WCD team have once again come up with something very special for the next edition from 01 to 03 June 2018: the globally renowned event for electronic music will present itself in its sixth edition in a "Hollywood Edition". The stars will be flown by helicopter directly onto the world's biggest red carpet, where they will then celebrate together with guests from all over the world in the "biggest club in the world". This will be another superlative event, which of course needed a very special pre-party.

And for that Breiter had really come up with something crazy: The first club in zero gravity. In a ZeroG Airbus, which is normally used by scientific teams and the European Space Agency (ESA) for training, a few lucky winners from many countries around the world got to celebrate an unforgettable party with the famous DJs Steve Aoki and W&W. From numerous video applications the winners were selected, who were allowed to board the plane at Frankfurt airport on 07 February, in which then 90 minutes of exuberant and weightless partying took place. Also on board were the two astronauts Jean-Francois Clervoy and Pedro Duque, who helped the participants to prepare for this flight so that they could really enjoy weightlessness.

Steve Aoki didn't have to think twice to sign up for this once-in-a-lifetime event. He's always up for crazy stuff like this, he said after the flight. "If I hadn't become a DJ, I would definitely be a stuntman," said Aoki, who is very grateful to Bernd Breiter for his outlandish ideas. The guys from W&W also said yes right away - but didn't realize what they were actually getting into until afterward. "We Googled it and then just thought, Damn, what have we done!" But even if everyone had been extremely nervous before the flight, that feeling immediately faded away after the first zero-gravity phase at the latest, the two DJs explained. Then the atmosphere was just great. Even for seasoned pros like Aoki and W&W, this party was like nothing else.

Also the partners from Fraport, the city of Frankfurt and Telekom were thrilled about the event - and about the great media interest it brought. And it is already clear that this will not be the last crazy idea with which the WORLD CLUB DOME team will make headlines. There are already ideas, Bernd Breiter admits with a smile - but they won't be revealed yet. After all, the biggest club in the world is just around the corner. And even if the visitors of the WCD in the Commerzbank Arena have to stay on the ground at the beginning of June, the Zero Gravity flight should have given a good foretaste of what kind of spectacle the fans of electronic music can expect at the festival. <link https: www.worldclubdome.com tickets _blank>We are excited and already looking forward to the WORLD CLUB DOME - Hollywood Edition, for which you can secure tickets HERE.
