(kus) The basic renovation of the Höchster Stadtpark is progressing steadily. After the playground has already been redesigned and the arched bridge over the pond shines in new splendor, the gardening and landscaping work in the park area is now being carried out.
Already at the beginning of October, the path construction work began with the footpath and cycle path towards Sossenheim. The path, which is heavily wet in parts, has already been drained by means of a drainage system installed on both sides. However, the work cannot be continued at present due to weather conditions. Therefore, this section is closed off by a construction fence. The diversion for pedestrians and cyclists is clearly signposted.
Work is continuing at full speed at other points in the park so that large parts of the facility will already be available to park visitors again in time for spring.
