Today, Tuesday, the new weekly market at Friedberger Warte celebrated its successful premiere. In gorgeous weather, City Councilor Markus Frank as well as local chairman Hermann Steib opened the small but fine weekly market on the newly designed square, which was reopened last year after extensive renovations, at 12:30 pm. Live music at the market premiere was provided by singer, guitarist and entertainer Kevin Henderson.
The weekly market, organized by HFM Managementgesellschaft für Hafen und Markt mbH, will now be held Every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the square at Friedberger Warte. Frank expressed the hope that the market would continue to be as well received in the future as it was on today's opening day. The first market visitors were already enthusiastic, not only because the square is enlivened by the weekly market in a really nice way.
Also the offer can convince. Visitors can expect a total of thirteen market stalls offering meat, cheese, bread, kitchens, pasta, poultry, eggs and delicatessen in addition to fruit and vegetables.
