Diana Rauhut new member of the Management Board of Mainova AG

(ffm) At its meeting on Thursday, August 30, the Supervisory Board of Mainova AG appointed Diana Rauhut to the energy utility's Management Board for a five-year term. The 42-year-old will in future be responsible for the Sales Private and Commercial Customers, IT and Customer Service divisions. The exact date on which she will take up her duties will be announced shortly.

Diana Rauhut studied economics with a focus on energy economics at the Energy Economics Institute (EWI) in Cologne. She began her career with the RWE Group as Business Development Manager in Frankfurt am Main. This was followed by further positions in energy trading and network services within the Group as well as at the headquarters of RWE AG in the areas of finance, processes and IT, among others. Most recently, she held a senior position in business customer sales at Innogy SE, where she was responsible for measures to increase efficiency and digitalisation. Diana Rauhut is married and has two children.

As part of the consistent strategic further development of the Group, the Supervisory Board of Mainova had resolved to expand the Management Board from currently three to four members in order to meet the challenges of the increasing transformation of the energy supply system as well as digitalisation and the associated multitude of new tasks.

"We are delighted to have Diana Rauhut as a new member of the Management Board, who has many years of experience and a high level of expertise in the energy sector and in the management of change processes," said Mainova Supervisory Board Chairman, Frankfurt's Mayor Uwe Becker. "With the expanded Management Board, Mainova is now even better equipped to successfully compete in the future and consistently drive forward the energy transition."

Mainova AG CEO Constantin H. Alsheimer expressly welcomed the Supervisory Board's decision: "On behalf of the entire Management Board and our employees, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Diana Rauhut as a new member of the Management Board. We wish her a good start and look forward to a successful cooperation."

The Management Board of Mainova AG will thus in future be composed of the following members: Constantin H. Alsheimer (Chairman of the Management Board), Norbert Breidenbach, Lothar Herbst and Diana Rauhut
