'DIRECTORS MAKE PEOPLE' - The Clown in a Tuxedo

"The clown, the clown was always funny to look at, but no one let the clown look into his heart," Heinz Rühmann once sang in his chanson about a clown and perhaps a little about himself.

But what is it like for an artist who always provides good humor, who makes children and adults laugh? The initiators of the campaign "Clothes make the man", Stephan Görner and Sven Müller, got to the bottom of this question and took the clown Filou in the campaign's sights. Daniel Baldus first photographed the joker in front of an audience at a street festival, as he formed rubber animals out of balloons, did tricks on a penny-farthing or juggled. The audience squealed with laughter, demanded encores and got them.

Afterwards, Günter von der Linde (57), alias Clown Filou, put on a dark blue corduroy tuxedo by tailor Stephan Görner and revealed a little of his life after the second part of the photo shoot.

The trained mechanical engineer has now been charming people for 33 years. On a ten-month trip around the world, he began juggling in India, co-founded the juggling and theater group Ballwitz and learned to ride a high-wheel. He perfected his clowning skills at the Philippe Gaulier Clown School in London and subsequently turned his hobby into his profession. He conquered countless children's and adults' hearts with his productions, for example at the Festival4Family of the Trifels publishing house in the Commerzbank Arena.

In private, the clown likes it rather quiet. Günter von der Linde is a family man, likes to do yoga or ride his bike in nature and watch birds. In the forest, he finds peace and strength for his many appearances in the spotlight.

On Saturday, November 2, Filou will again be seen in the spotlight. At the charity gala "Kleider machen Leute" in aid of the LEBERECHT Foundation, he will ride his unicycle on the catwalk in his new tuxedo and ensure a good mood. He will be accompanied by people who all pursue an unusual profession, but without whom a city would neither function nor be more livable or lovable.

Recognition, appreciation and respect are the messages of the campaign, which also finds support among prominent personalities. At the VIP fashion show on the same evening, top model Marcus Schenkenberg, politician Philipp Amthor (MdB), the presenters Kena Amoa and Laura Karasek and the athletes Sven Ottke and Heiner Brand show the fashion trends of Stephan Görner. 300 guests can also expect an atmospheric program with entertainer Joe Whitney, dancing, good food and exquisite wines. Patron is Bundestag vice president Wolfgang Kubicki, the gala is moderated by Evren Gezer.

Tickets for the gala, in which Frankfurt-Tipp.de is also a partner, are still available and can be purchased via the homepage www.kleider-machen-leute.net or at the organization office Sven Müller PR & live communication to order. The entrance including candlelight dinner, drinks of the evening costs 250 euros per guest. http://www.kleider-machen-leute.net
