(ffm) The two public Mainova drinking fountains in the city centre are now back in operation. In Große Bockenheimer Straße and in Liebfrauenstraße at the corner of the Zeil, passers-by can quench their thirst and refresh themselves on the go.
At the push of a button, drinking water of impeccable quality and from regional sources bubbles out of the water dispensers. Mainova has set these up at highly frequented locations in the city centre in order to offer one of the best controlled foodstuffs free of charge on site. The stainless steel columns, which are around two metres high, are extremely popular with passers-by. Last year, they used them an average of 600 times a day.
