Eintracht: Farewell to the fanshop in Bethmannstraße

It is always sad when an institution has to close its doors forever. For many Eintracht fans, however, the farewell to the traditional fanshop in Bethmannstraße should be particularly painful. After all, the Eintracht shop was the place to go for fans from all over the world for four decades. When it opened in the 1970s, it was still a real one-off that only fan merchandise from one club could be bought in one shop. Football fans met here to stock up for the next home game, buy accessories for the car or the living room, get tickets or exchange ideas with other fans. There is probably hardly an Eintracht fan who does not associate a very special memory with this shop.

And so it really can be said that an era came to an end when the shop opened regularly for the last time at the end of last year. Sure, there is an attractive replacement in the form of the new fanshop in "MyZeil", but nevertheless Frankfurt's football history is poorer by a chapter that is very important for many with the closure of the special shop in Bethmannstraße. The operators also know this, which is why they would like to say a proper farewell to the fans once again.

On Friday, January 12, the Eintracht shop will open its doors for the very last time and thank its loyal customers with great offers. From 10am there will be a 20% discount on the merchandising range as well as last tickets for the home match against SC Freiburg at half price. With a tear in the eye, there will then be a real farewell party from 5pm onwards. Then former employees, customers and surprise guests will come together to reminisce or share stories about the store and its esteemed operators and, of course, Eintracht. Those who wish can also bring along their favourite Eintracht fan merchandise purchased in the Eintracht shop. Snacks and schobbe will be provided.

So if you want to say goodbye to a real traditional shop, you should definitely stop by Bethmannstraße again on 12.01. - all day, but especially from 5 pm on! <link https: news artikel feierlicher-abschied-vom-eintracht-shop-in-der-bethmannstrasse-63466 _blank>You can find more info and background HERE
