Eintracht had another reason to celebrate on Tuesday evening - as so often in recent weeks. This time, however, the reason was not the DFB Pokal or the entry into the group stage of the UEFA Europa League 2018/2019. Rather, the festive presentation of the new home jersey was on the agenda at the GIBSON Club. Under the motto "Finest Frankfurt Fabric", the jersey, which was created in cooperation with NIKE, was unveiled in front of 1200 enthusiastic guests.
The SGE's new home jersey in "Frankfurt Style" appears all in black with anthracite-coloured elements and the initials "SGE" in the neck area. The Eintracht logo is in black and white, the lettering of main sponsor Indeed and the "Swoosh" of supplier Nike are completely in white on the chest. The logo of Deutsche Börse is on the left sleeve. For the right sleeve, there will be a choice of three logos this season. The league logo of the DFL, the Europa League logo and the DFB Pokalsieger logo. The back flocking of the new home jersey is also completely white. To match the jersey, the shorts (with black and white eagle logo) and socks are all black.
The home jersey will be available in three different versions: The stadium version for 84,95 € for men (S-XXL), women (XS-XL) and for 69,95 € for children (XS-XL). On this version Eintracht Frankfurt e.V. members receive a special discount of 15 €. The fan version for 49,95 € for men (S-XXL) and for 39,95 € for children (XS-XL) and the player version for 129,95 € for men (S-XXL). The sales start for the home jersey in home and player version is on 17 July 2018 at Eintracht Frankfurt, on nike.com and in stores. As early as 2 July 2018, the stadium-quality jerseys will be available for pre-order in the Eintracht Frankfurt online shop
And one more piece of news was announced at the jersey presentation: For the next five years, the Nike swoosh together with the eagle will continue to adorn the jersey of reigning DFB Cup winners Eintracht Frankfurt. The US sporting goods manufacturer and Eintracht agreed ahead of schedule on an extension of the existing contract until June 30, 2024. Already since the 2014/15 season, Nike has stood for fashionable accents at the traditional Hessian club.
"Nike as the world's leading sports brand is an excellent fit for us and we look back on five very eventful years with great designs and creative impulses. Now we are looking forward to the coming years with great anticipation", said Eintracht board member Axel Hellmann during the jersey presentation on Tuesday evening at the Frankfurt club "Gibson".
