Events in Frankfurt to mark the anniversary '500 years of the Reformation'

The anniversary "500 years of the Reformation" is heading towards its climax, on Tuesday, 31 October 2017, it will be marked nationwide with an official holiday. In Frankfurt, there are central events such as the festive service on October 31 in the Protestant church of St. Catherine with the Protestant city dean Achim Knecht and the Catholic city dean Johannes zu Eltz. But also in the city districts the congregations have prepared a variety of services, concerts and festive events.

Bockenheim

Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Bockenheim, Sankt Jakobskirche, Kirchplatz 9, Tuesday, October 31, 10 a.m., short service, followed by the exhibition "Reformation is Here - Discovering God's Trace". The church will be open until 4pm that day, with spiritual and musical impulses every half hour.

The meeting point is the Protestant Alte Nikolaikirche, Römerberg, city centre. Registration is not necessary.

Alte Nikolaikirche am Römerberg, Tuesday, 31.
