'Faces of Frankfurt promote the 2017 Römer open days

Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann and City Council Chairman Stephan Siegler unveil new posters

(kus) Lord Mayor Peter Feldmann and City Council Chairman Stephan Siegler have unveiled the official posters for this year's open days at the Römer.

A Facebook call for a photo shoot for the application had a great response. As a result, faces of Frankfurters will now advertise together on posters and flyers in the coming weeks for the open days on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.

"Our posters are the best expression of this year's motto for the ‚Frankfurt - City of Citizens' event," said Mayor Peter Feldmann. "Although the people for the most part did not know each other before the photo shoot and can already be seen together on the advertising spaces, everything worked out well", Feldmann said happily.

To get into conversation with citizens and vice versa with politicians and representatives of the offices and institutions in an informal way is easy at the open days. Visitors to the town hall can experience for themselves how municipal bodies, the magistrate and offices of the city administration, take up interests of the people of Frankfurt and what new projects they are working on. "Citizens should see what their administration and their political representatives are doing on their behalf," emphasizes city council chairman Stephan Siegler.

A variety of offers, guided tours through the Römer, dialogue and participatory formats, appearances by Michael Quast in the plenary hall on the topic of "150 years of the city council - the plenary hall through the ages", as well as office talks, music and cultural contributions await visitors on these days.
