Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH invites you to the neighborhood and information day
(kus) On the last weekend in August, two anniversaries coincide at Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH (FES): On the one hand, it is the tenth birthday of the retreaded waste-to-energy plant (MHKW), which reliably supplies the Nordweststadt with heat. On the other hand, waste from Frankfurt and the surrounding area has been incinerated at this site in the Northwest City for 50 years.
To mark the occasion, FES invites you to a neighbourhood and information day at the MHKW on Saturday, 26 August. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be guided tours of the power plant at Heddernheimer Landstraße 157 every half hour. There will also be the opportunity to talk to employees, those responsible and neighbours of the waste-to-energy plant. Food and drink will also be provided.
