Finally art again: Frankfurt museums open

After opening briefly, Frankfurt's museums and exhibition halls had to close again at the end of March. But now - provided the incidence is also below 100 on Saturday - they can start again from Whit Monday. Whether Senckenberg Naturmuseum, Schirn, Städel or Caricatura - in a few days it will finally start again, even if not all museums reopen immediately. The familiar hygiene regulations apply to museum visits: A medical mask must be worn, a distance of at least 1.5 metres must be maintained and regular hand washing and disinfection is compulsory. Negative proof is only recommended for visiting indoor facilities, there is no obligation. Entering open facilities is only permitted by prior appointment.

The opening of museums and exhibition halls is carried out with a distance and hygiene concept in compliance with the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute on hygiene, ventilation, the control of access and the avoidance of queues. Bookings for guided tours are currently not yet possible.

Up-to-date information and detailed information also on the registration procedures can be found on the websites of the museums
