Finally enjoying round trips on the Main again with the Primus Line

Finally enjoying round trips on the Main again with the Primus Line

For a long time it was no longer possible to enjoy the Frankfurt skyline from the Main. The relaxed round trips or the popular Skylight tours in the evening, with which the Primus Line not only delights guests of our beautiful city, but also many Frankfurt residents, were unfortunately not allowed to take place in recent months. But now the infection figures are falling steadily and the incidence has been below 100 for a few days. If this remains so, then from 25 May it can finally be said again: cast off and off on the Main - of course with a comprehensive hygiene concept and in compliance with current measures.

Whoever wants to go on board needs a negative antigen rapid test, which must not be older than 24 hours. Only after presenting the proof of the test and the contact data you can enjoy a relaxed boat trip on the river Main. The classic Primus Line tours in Frankfurt take you up the Main towards Osthafen to Gerbermühle or down the Main to Westhafen and back to Mainkai. During the round trips you can experience the Main metropolis in all its facets, let the skyscrapers of the banking district pass by or enjoy the view of the old town. The round trip costs 10.80 euros for adults and six euros for children aged six to 14.

"After such a long lockdown, we are very relieved that we can finally offer our rides again. We are optimistic about the future and look forward to welcoming guests on board again. Starting from 29 May our day trips in the direction of Arschaffenburg and Seligenstadt or on the Rhine in the direction of the Rheingau to Rüdesheim will start again", Marie Nauheimer, Managing Director of Primus-Linie, is pleased to announce. The day trips Aschaffenburg and Rüdesheim cost from the Mainkai with the ship there and back for adults 34.50 euros and for children 17.25 euros. For the day trip Seligenstadt adults pay 29,50 Euro and children 14,75 Euro.

A real highlight - especially with (hopefully soon) rising temperatures are the Skylight tours. Here you can experience a tour over the Main along the Frankfurt skyline in the evening. The atmosphere is really unique! Because here the city shows itself with numerous lights on skyscrapers, bridges and along the shore once again from a completely different side. The approximately 60-minute Skylight Tour costs €13.50 for adults and €8.50 for children.

In addition, guests can again look forward to other event rides, such as the Fairy Tale Breakfast for families or the popular Chill-Out Tours at the end of the day. You can find the current ride calendar at www.primus-linie.de/de/termine. Let's hope that the infection situation doesn't worsen drastically again and that a bit more normality returns on the Main as well.
