Förderprogramm Innenstadt Höchst invites you to the 13th Höchst Design Parcours

(ffm) The time is ripe again - for lovingly designed bags, creative upcycling ideas, high-quality photographs, handmade jewelry or designer furniture pieces. Over 50 creative people from the regional art and design scene will make Höchst the most beautiful destination in Frankfurt on the first weekend of Advent.

Lucky shoppers will also have the chance to win a shopping voucher worth 50 euros, including lots of gift ideas for Christmas. All you need to do is collect stamps while browsing and marvelling at the individual locations and you'll be in the lottery!

What was once an experiment with the aim of drawing attention to vacant shop premises and their potential through creative interim uses is now an established and popular series of events. In the meantime, the 13th Höchster Designparcours has expanded to very different premises in Höchst's inner and old town. The Café Mouseclick, the Verein Arbeits- und Erziehungshilfe and the Bürgervereinigung Höchster Altstadt - to name but a few - have once again been transformed into exhibition spaces of a special kind.

At the same time, the number of creative people who have settled in Höchst and enrich the regional art and design scene as well as the Höchster Designparcours is increasing. This is made up of a total of seven rooms for temporary use and eleven studios, workshops or shops of the creative people on site. The two labels Miss Tula Trash and Death bei Dress, former interim users of the Designparcours, are inviting eleven other labels to join them at Bolongarostraße 133. And Kranengasse 2 also has more surprises in store alongside the new works by FORMWERKE.

Finally, the Bolongaro family's former tobacco factory is reopening its doors at 113 Bolongarostrasse. Although the building is still under renovation, it offers a unique setting for history buffs, exhibitors and visitors alike.

The MUSA Kinderatelier at 33 Emmerich-Josef-Strasse is also looking forward to energetic support this weekend when it invites visitors to "Creative Workshop - Painting with Children". And those who want to plunge into the art frenzy will have the opportunity to do so at the "11th Petersburger Hängung" in the premises of Westkunst Nied, Bolongarostraße 112. There, in addition to live music and mulled wine, a group exhibition including raffles await visitors.

The Design Parcours is open on Saturday, December 1, from 2 pm to 8 pm and on Sunday from 12 pm to 7 pm. At the same time, the Höchst Christmas Market will be held on Schlossplatz (Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.).

The Höchst Design Parcours has been supported and organized for the past six years by the City of Frankfurt's Urban Planning Department, Wirtschaftsförderung Frankfurt GmbH, NH ProjektStadt and RADAR, the City of Frankfurt's vacancy agency, as part of the "Innenstadt Höchst" promotional program. The funding program was also recently extended for another five years.
