Yesterday, the gala "Kleider machen Leute" took place for the second time at the Hotel Kempinski Gravenbruch Frankfurt.
"Kleider machen Leute" is a project that uses fashion to create awareness for a charitable cause. Well-known Frankfurt fashion designer Stephan Görner and PR man Sven Müller launched the project last year and made it a terrific success.
The "Kleider machen Leute" campaign pays tribute to people with unusual, difficult, strenuous or dangerous jobs. The purpose of the project is to do good. Thus, 40,000 <x>Ampersand</x>euros; could be collected from raffles and donations, which will benefit the Leberecht Foundation. The foundation supports disabled and disadvantaged children and their families; and has been doing so for over 60 years.
One highlight of the evening was the fashion show, where the 12 models of the campaign and five celebrities ventured onto the catwalk in custom-made suits and costumes by Stephan Görner. With them were: Juan de la Cruz Amodor, (star chef), Uli Stein (ex-goalkeeper of Eintracht Frankfurt), Thomas Ranft (hr weatherman), Markus Mörl (singer Neue Deutsche Welle) and as the first female model the presenter Rabea Shif.
The FFH Morning Queen Evren Gezer led through the program and Paul Potts provided the musical supporting program. The star tenor enchanted the gala guests with wonderful vocal performances and surprised us with a birthday message for the 15th anniversary of Frankfurt-Tipp.de.
Big compliments for the great charity event and many thanks to the initiators Stephan Görner and Sven Müller for the great commitment!
